Our team includes experienced attorneys and Certified Public Accountants. Our own personal immigration experience coupled with our law and accounting backgrounds here in the United States, makes us understand not only our clients’ immigration needs but also their tax and business needs. We guide our clients through not just their immigration journey but also towards fulfilling their business ambitions when we work with our tax and financial services divisions. Much of our clientele is referral-based which speaks volumes about our work ethic and experience.
We primarily represent clients in immigration courts with jurisdiction over the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Prior to establishing the Tax and Immigration team in 2000, our principals have practiced tax law in the areas of Corporate Tax and International Law with one of the largest law and tax advisory firms in the world. Since 2000, we have focused our firm’s practice on family and business-based immigration and related administrative and federal litigation. The Tax and Immigration team represents individuals and businesses from around the USA and internationally. Our immigration practice includes transactional work (immigration/visa petitions, etc.), defending tax audits, and related litigation along with representing clients in removal hearings or compliance consultations in preparation for administrative action.
Our areas of practice require that we often deal with U.S. government agencies such as the Department of State, USCIS, and ICE within the Department of Homeland Security along with the Internal Revenue Service. To properly accomplish these services require experience in corporate tax law, commercial law, constitutional law, business law, private international law, and litigation management. Because of our multi-disciplinary training and subject-matter experience, our team possesses skills and insight from various disciplines that equip us to provide a unique insight into the business, finance, tax, and immigration law as a multi-faceted discipline.
